Title: Porterhouse
Author: Vanessa Vale
Year of publication: Out today! I was kindly given a copy to read and review
The heroine: Nurse Jill Murphy
The heroes: District Attorney Porter Duke and Sheriff Liam Hogan
The blurb: Meet—or should I say meat—Porter Duke. He serves up a large portion of big beef all alone, but he doesn’t want to claim Jillian Murphy by himself. Liam Hogan has what it takes to satisfy the hungriest appetite—and their woman is insatiable.
When Jill’s life is in danger, should she go to the sexy DA and new sheriff who have stolen her heart? Or should she protect her men from the one thing that could destroy them—herself?
Standalone or series: This is book four of the Grade-A Beefcakes series, but can be read as a standalone
The review: This fourth installment in the Grade-A Beefcake series is just as sexy and fun as the first three! One of the Duke cousins, Porter, and his best friend Liam know that Jill is the woman they’ve been looking for, the one they’ll share and settle down with.
However, Jill is not yet on board with the idea of two men sharing her, so she dates them both separately at first, even though she knows deep down she wants them both. But she doesn’t realise they’re not going to make her pick between the two of them – can they convince her that’s where she belongs?
When Jill finally gathers the courage to tell them she wants them both, the three of them fall headfirst into the relationship they all want. But it’s not all smooth sailing; Jill’s younger brother causes some serious headaches for her, and Porter, who misunderstands the situation, suspects Jill of wrongdoing. She’s devastated and flees, but when Liam sets Porter right, they set out to get their woman back. Will they succeed? You’ll just have to read to find out!
