Review: Stealing Valentine by Madison Faye

stealing valentineTitle: Stealing Valentine

Author: Madison Faye

Year of publication: Out today! I was kindly given a copy to read and review

The heroine: Valentine

The hero: Jewel thief Dutch Hammond

The blurb: Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I came to rob diamonds,
But now I’m stealing her too

I’ve spent my life taking what I want, even if it doesn’t belong to me. Stealing the infamous Whistler diamonds is supposed to be my last job before I can retire wealthy beyond imagination, and I’ve planned for everything

Everything except for her.

Valentine is like nothing I’ve ever known before. Good, young, sweet, and alluring—with curves and an innocence far more tempting than any vault or priceless art. I didn’t plan on her, and I sure as shit didn’t plan on the diamonds I’m supposed to steal being draped around her neck.

…So I’m taking her too. But when I lay my hands on the gorgeous little tease squirming against me, and with one taste of that sassy mouth, I’m lost. And when I find out she’s never been touched?

Well, that’s something else I’ll be stealing too.

I know she’s off limits. I know this breaks every one of my rules. I know I don’t give a shit about any of that. Claiming her cherry is going to be the sweetest sin. But stealing her heart is going to be the greatest heist this thief ever pulled…

Standalone or series: Standalone

The review: I adore reading Madison Faye’s books, because you know you’re going to get some hot sex scenes and a nice little twist that will leave you gasping. Stealing Valentine is no different.

Dutch is a thief who’s been conning people for years; first out of necessity, and then because he became really good at it. He’s going to pull one last job worth hundreds of millions, and then he’s going to retire. So he spends over a year working his way up in a company owned by the man who possesses the expensive diamond necklace and earrings set Dutch has his eye on, and the night has finally come to steal the jewels…but when he gets to the room where they’re hidden, he’s shocked to find something he never anticipated…

Her. Valentine is young, beautiful… and wearing his jewels. He barely has time to take in her appearance before the alarms go off, and after she refuses to give him the jewels, he decides to take them – and her – with him as he makes his escape. Once he finds out who she is, his life gets more complicated than he could ever have imagined. Will she be worth the risk of losing everything to keep? Make sure you read to find out!

Review: Her Double Mountain Outlaws by Madison Faye

her double mountain outlawsTitle: Her Double Mountain Outlaws

Author: Madison Faye

Year of publication: Out today! I was kindly given a copy to read and review

The heroine: Veterinarian Kennedy McKinnon

The heroes: Tattoo artists Landon Jacobs and Caleb Rawlins

The blurb: Our demons almost destroyed us once. Chased by our sins, our past, and the mob, Blackthorn Mountain was a clean start. A place we could start over, open our tattoo shop, and ignore the rest of the world.

It’s a great plan, except for one little detail: we never expected to find her up on the mountain.

Gorgeous, sassy, innocent, and tempting in that way where she doesn’t even know it. We know two outlaws like us should stay away from Kennedy McKinnon. We know those sweet curves and soft, pouty lips are off limits. But when one night of mayhem brings us crashing into her, there’s not a power on earth that could keep us from her and from claiming what’s ours.

The ghosts of our past aren’t through with us though. There’s a sociopath of a mob prick looking to take us down and hurt everything we love.

But that is not going to happen. Because what’s our is ours. Ours to protect, ours to share. And we’ll fight like hell to keep her safe.

Kennedy’s worried about coming between us. She has no idea that’s our goal. She’s worried about having to choose one of us.

…She’s not going to have to.

Standalone or series: This is book eight in the Blackthorn Mountain Men series, but can be read as a standalone.

The review: Vet Kennedy McKinnon has moved to Blackthorn Mountain to be near her sister and niece. For the past year, she’s been lusting over the two men who own the tattoo parlour down the road, Landon Jacobs and Caleb Rawlins. But she’s done the whole bad boy thing and she’s not interested in revisiting it, so she ignores the feelings that pop up every time she sees them.

One night, she opens her surgery door to find Landon holding Caleb, who’s been shot. She patches him up, but wonders what she’s getting herself into. She doesn’t want to have to choose between the two best friends, but they soon make it clear she doesn’t need to – they share everything. And they want to share her.

Kennedy finds herself falling under their spell and it doesn’t take long before she’s hot and heavy with them both. But when their past comes calling, will Kennedy be caught in the crossfire?

You know that when you read a Madison Faye book you’re going to get lots of hot, sexy scenes, and threesomes are her specialty. Another great read guaranteed to get your engines racing!

The heroine: Accounting department employee Noelle Healy

The heroes: Brock Pierce and Seamus Horn

The blurb: They call us ruthless, and cruel. Filthy rich beyond belief, dominant beyond compare, and we run our company with iron fists.

It’s the night before Christmas, but all is not calm. And all sure as hell ain’t right or bright. See, someone’s been skimming from the company piggy-bank, and selling secrets to our rivals.

Not just anyone though. Her.

Noelle Healy. The new hire. The innocently tempting, forbidden little tease who’s been driving us insane in our need to have her… and we will have her.

Dark hair, wild, fierce eyes, and just enough sass in those pouty lips and curvy hips to drive a man wild. Or two of them.

But someone’s been a bad, bad girl this year, and she’s about to find her stocking stuffed with two somethings much harder than coal. We’ve got some heavy bells for her to jingle, and enough mistletoe to last all night.

Christmas might come but once a year, but the two of us are far more frequent than that. And Noelle’s about to unwrap a bah-humbugging she’ll never forget.

Standalone or series: Standalone

The review: If you want a menage novella that’s fun and incredibly sexy with a twist, then you can’t go wrong with Madison Faye. Set on Christmas Eve, best friends Brock and Seamus are the feared CEOs of their tech and finance analysis firm. They came from nothing and worked hard to make it the success it is, so when they realise someone is committing corporate espionage and stealing from the company, they’re determined to find the culprit and punish them.

Noelle has worked for the company for a couple of weeks, and after interrogating several staff members Brock and Seamus set their sights on her. She’s not only suspicious, but incredibly attractive, and they decide to use a different interrogation method than they did on the others. It turns out that Noelle is only too happy to capitulate to their demands, and what follows is deliciously hot sex in their office. The culprit is eventually revealed, but will Brock and Seamus get their happy ending with the woman of their dreams, or will they have to put her behind bars? You’ll just have to read to find out!

Review: Unwrapping His Mountain Package by Madison Faye

unwrapping his mountain packageTitle: Unwrapping His Mountain Package

Author: Madison Faye

Year of publication: Out today! I was kindly given a copy to read and review

The heroine: Holly ?

The hero: Ex-military/mob courier Dane ?

The blurb: Outlaw. Soldier. Villain. Hero. Smuggler for the mob. I’m whatever the highest bidder needs me to be, and I don’t ask questions.

That is, until a freak avalanche sends me crashing over a cliff up on Blackthorn Mountain, and I find out what—or who—I’m really carrying.

She’s innocent and tempting—the blonde and beautiful little captive I didn’t even know I had. Legs for days, curves that beg for my rough hands, and a sassy spitfire attitude that gets my pulse roaring.

The mountain blizzard has us trapped. Just the two of us in an abandoned cabin, on Christmas Eve, with nothing but our body heat to keep warm. I know she’s off-limits. I know the mob boss who’s paying me wants to sell her to settle a debt. But once I’ve had a taste of Holly, there ain’t no way I’m letting that happen.

She came to me by accident. But I found her. I unwrapped her. I made her mine.

The storm wants to bury us. The mob wants to take her from me.

But she’s my Christmas miracle. She’s my pretty little present, and I’m going to unwrap every inch of her with my teeth.

She was never meant for me. But now, I’m keeping her all to myself.

Standalone or series: This is book seven in the Blackthorn Mountain Men series, but can be read as a standalone

The review: Dane is an ex-military man who finds himself acting as a courier for a local mob boss. He doesn’t know what’s in the cargo he’s delivering and he’s paid enough money not to ask. When he’s transporting the latest shipment in the middle of a snowstorm up the top of a mountain, he’s involved in an accident and his truck topples over the edge. He’s okay, but when he gets out to check the damage, it appears the shipment he was delivering isn’t quite what he expected.

He finds Holly, a beautiful young woman, is the cargo in question. Shoving his anger aside at finding another human being has been sold to pay a debt, he manages to coax her into the cabin of the truck and out of the snow. They’re trapped in there, but Dane is well equipped for such an event – he’s got an extended cabin that’s big enough for sleep, along with several changes of clothes, food, and portable heating.

They settle in for the night, but the next morning it’s clear that there’s something between them and it’s lust at first sight. Holly is a willing participant and it doesn’t take long for them to find another way to keep warm. Eventually, the snow dies down enough for them to make it to a nearby abandoned cabin, where they hunker down until they can go for help.

But the mob boss isn’t about to let his possession go that easy, and Dane will do anything to keep the woman he’s quickly fallen in love with safe. If you love novellas with instalove and hot sex in them, this one’s for you.

Review: Sharing Samantha by Madison Faye

sharing samanthaTitle: Sharing Samantha

Author: Madison Faye

Year of publication: Out today! I was kindly given a copy to read and review

The heroine: Programmer Samantha McCue

The heroes: Business owners Reece Jackman and Gavin ??

The blurb: We’ve always hated Thanksgiving. After all, growing up rough and untamed on the streets taught us one thing: there isn’t much in this life to be thankful for. And nothing comes for free unless you take it.

We’re trying to lie low at a prick of a business associate’s holiday party. But when she walks into our world, we know we’ve found something to make more than our stomachs growl.

Fiery red hair, sharp green eyes, pouty lips all full of sass and sweetness, and very much in need of rescuing from her asshole ex. She’s wrong on every level—too innocent, too good for two rough-and-tumble men like us. That and we’re supposed to do business with her entitled, awful family.

But one look at Samantha McCue, and we’re hooked, obsessed. One taste, and trust me when I say we will be coming back for seconds.

Because there’ll be some stuffing on this holiday table all right. And plenty of cream for that sweet pie. It’s the season of giving, after all … and between us both, we’ve got plenty to give her.

F*ck being “forbidden”. For once in our lives, we’ve found something to be thankful for.

And we’ll be damned if we let anyone take her from us.

Standalone or series: Standalone

The review: The one thing you can be guaranteed when you read a book by Madison Faye is that it will be smoking hot, and Sharing Samantha doesn’t disappoint! This Thanksgiving themed novella has Samantha at her loathed stepmother’s house for the holidays, only because she’s recently unemployed and guaranteed a decent meal. Her equally loathed and incredibly sleazy stepbrother, Martin, is also present, so when Samantha’s ex turns up engaged to the woman he cheated on Sam for, she’s ready to split.

That changes when she is rescued from the most awkward of situations by a hot stranger, whom she later finds out is Reece. Reece and his best friend, Gavin, are there to suck up to Martin. They have a company that provides algorithms to hedge funds to help with trading and acquisitions. Martin’s company has been dangling a potentially big contract in front of them for the last month, so they’re doing their best to ignore their dislike for the man because this contract will be the break their company needs

That goes out the window when they see Samantha, though. She’s perfect. Later that night, she decides to hop into the hot tub attached to the side of the house. She thinks Reece is the man in it, and since they shared some hot kisses earlier she decides to be bold and make a move. It turns out to be Gavin, however, and after she gets past her initial shock and Reece arrives, the fun and games begin.

The three of them spend the night together, and when Martin catches them in the act Reece and Gavin decide he’s not worth it, so they walk out – and take Samantha with them.

Another fun and easy read! If you love menage that’s focused on the heroine, you’ll enjoy this.

Review: Claiming Candy by Madison Faye

claiming candyTitle: Claiming Candy

Author: Madison Faye

Year of publication: Out today! I was kindly given a copy to read and review

The heroine: Candice, known as Candy

The heroes: Roarke and Jensen

The blurb: Rough, untamed, and recently escaped from the psych ward at Tucker Prison. They say we’re dangerous—that we’re a couple of animals. That we’re unhinged, deranged maniacs.

…They ain’t wrong.

Tonight, we’re on the run, and on the prowl. And when we stumble upon the “date” auction at the local college sorority and see her up on that auction stage? Well, we know we’ve found our prize.

She’s far too innocent for two big, hardened, beasts like us. But, that ain’t gonna stop us. Nothing will. There’ll be no shaking us once we’ve caught a scent of her, no holding us back once we’ve gotten a peek of those sweet curves and honeyed lips.

She’s never been touched. We’ve gone far too long without. And tonight, little red is about to meet two big bad wolves out in the woods. Two big mouths, the better to eat her with. Four big hands, the better to hold her tight between us with. Two big…well, let’s just say the better to claim her with.

Something wicked her way comes. Two somethings, actually. And tonight, sweet little Candy is about to find two things that go bump in the night…

Standalone or series: Standalone

The review: This novella is the perfect Hallowe’en treat if you want something fun and easy, delicious and dirty to read! Roarke and Jensen mingle with the crowd at a Hallowe’en auction being held in a sorority house. Up for grabs are some of the new pledges for a ‘date’ – but the two men have no intention of taking Candy out for dinner.

After winning the auction, they take her upstairs where the fun begins. Candy is a willing participant, even though she says she doesn’t know them, but they certainly know her. I had the impression there was more to this story from the beginning, and it turns out I was right – after thoroughly wearing her out, the story takes a whole new turn with a twist I couldn’t have guessed and was actually quite interesting.

If you love smut, this book is for you. It’s M/F/M, with the emphasis on Candy; there’s no M/M but there is a happy ending. It’s very explicit and so much fun to read if that’s your thing! And I just love the cover.
